The Death of Clickbank?

If you're joining ClickBank as an affiliate, then you are doing so to market ebooks. You should know by now that not only do I, and many others here have a strong distrust and dislike for ebook authors, but their affiliates as well. If I were you, I'd rethink asking that question here and publicizing being an affiliate at ClickBank ever again at WickedFire.

While I have used Clickbank in the past, I wouldn't recommend them because of the lack of service they provide. Everything in that article is true and they are a hotbed for CRAPPY ebooks. Trying to get someone on the phone there is like pulling teeth! They are just too big, and you'll do a lot better promoting offers from smaller affiliate networks.

Thanks Jon, now I look like an idiot for admitting I was a Clickbank affiliate in the past. I was a newb to affiliate marketing though at the time, so I'm not afraid to admit it. :)

Dont ban me Jon!

I have been trying to push a couple offers on one of my sites but havent reported any sales even when pushing them through PCC. Whether or not I really got any sales we'll never know. Lately, their have been tons of people complaining about their tracking system not working.

Check out the Clickbank section on DP, lots of people not likin it. I also was given a link to eWealth.Com about Clickbank, seems like more then a few affiliates are jumping ship, as well as many publishers.

Their tracking is shitty, some guy said he tried ordering a product through his hoplink, it didnt give him credit, then he had a friend do it, no credit was given either... At this point, fuck Clickbank...

Even it they did track correctly their site sucks and publishers landing pages are fucking atrocious...

I think anyone who brings up C LICK Bank should be C LICK banned...

Buh bye.

Thanks for the info guys, will be staying away from Clickbank. I'm still trying to choose a couple good affiliate programs..I've been staying away from the smaller ones because I'm afraid I won't get paid unless the company is well-known.

What about CJ? I've heard some bad things about them too.

Whatever, im not a fan of ebooks, but you have to admit that they sell, which is unfortunate. I dont read them but if some idiot wants to buy one about landscaping off my website then who am I to argue....

Im sure other people will have more insight on CJ then I will but my take is that its pretty much feast or famine. The majority of people I have seen are either making a pretty penny or not a single sale. I guess that could be true for any network but it seems alot more prominent with CJ

Clickbank is far from dead. They generate pure profit...hardly any expenses.

Think about how much money they make from all those idiots who buy ebooks and 'memberships'. Each sale they make roughly $8.

Thosewho say it is dead probably don't know how to make much money with clickbank.
