King BO states today:

"This recession might linger for years. Our economy will lose 5 million more jobs. Unemployment will approach double digits. Our nation will sink deeper into a crisis that, at some point, we may not be able to reverse,"

So we may NEVER recover if we don't turn over our tax dollars for:

$125 billion for public education including $20 billion for school renovations and $79 billion to avoid education related layoffs
$87 billion for Medicaid
$30 billion goes to road projects
$27 billion to continue unemployment insurance benefits
$20 billion for food stamps
$8 billion for renewable energies
$7 billion for modernizing federal buildings
$6 billion for mass transit
$5 billion for for the construction and repair of public housing
$4 billion for community activist programs such as ACORN
$2 billion for child care subsidies
$650 million for coupons for digital TV conversions
$400 million for global warming research
$335 million for STD prevention
$50 million for National Endowment of the Arts

Is America this fucking stupid!
 


No nation, in the entire history of mankind, EVER spent its way out of debt.

The only solution is the least politically palatable, and so it will never be implemented:

- Let the insolvent, incapable businesses fail.

- Let the assets transfer to solvent capable hands.

- Let the fiat currencies die.

- Restore sound money.

- Abolish the ratfucking rapist Federal Reserve.

We'll be back on our feet by the end of the year, and so will the rest of the world. BUT - it will never happen, because we are, as a species, stupid, greedy, and amazingly short-sighted.

Wanna know how to catch a monkey? Get a heavy clay jar with a small opening. Put a nice fresh nut inside. The monkey will reach in, grab the nut, and close his fist around it. With his fist closed, the monkey cannot pull his arm out and so is trapped by the weight of the jar.

No matter that he's slated to be on the menu if he stays like that, the stoopid monkey WILL NOT LET GO OF THE NUT.

That's us right there. We'll never let go of the nut.

Indeed, Obama makes no bones about his plans to go on a tax rampage. Not only would he increase the capital-gains tax rate from 15 percent to as much as 28 percent, he wants to allow the 2001 and 2003 Bush tax cuts to expire in 2010, which effectively raises taxes on Americans by tens of billions of dollars.



He also wants to do away with the $102,000 FICA payroll tax cap, which means anyone making over $102,000 would pay an additional 7 percent in taxes on earned income.
 
The bottom line is this.. Do you believe that wealth is created/flows from the top->down or from the bottom-> up?
All wealth is created on the ground.. from the bottom.. and flows up.. maybe the majority of people are not going to get rich, but they can have decent lives, and hands to the wheel is where all wealth is created..
This top-down, trickle down theory shit is bankrupt.. greedy fuckers is all it is.. exploiters.. takers.. all of them should be publicly horsewhipped. All of you capitalist scum.
A hard days work would "kill hell" out of most of you.. what do you know.. nothing..

Real wealth? Real wealth has been in the hands of the same ruling class for centuries and that isn't going to change.

That's the most asinine statement I've heard all week (even after watching Obama and President Pelosi spew pork laden bullcrap over the airwaves).

soldier = personal decision

It's pointless to blame Obama or even Bush. Blame the idiot citizens in this country.

Blame that woman who, after Katrina hit, spent her FEMA debit card on purses and casinos.

Blame the guy who took out a $200,000 home loan while making $7/hour at Starbucks.

Blame the fucker who agreed to loan that much to the guy above.

Blame the idiots who complain about "barely getting by" when they've got air conditioning, a new HDTV, and go out to eat every night.

Blame the people who don't pay off their credit card balances, and just apply for new cards.

We're a country of idiots with an inflated sense of self-worth and a gigantic sense of entitlement. Does it come as any surprise that we elect drunkards, criminals, and downright shitty people to run our government?

This is a economic stimulus package not an educatin package. Fix the damn economy then worry about earmarks, education etc.

First it was the three of his nominees that don't pay thier taxes now this pork laden piece of shit bill? what the hell is he thinking?

No person with any kind of intelligence can say with a straight face that is democratic pork laden bill will help our economy.
