Give me a break. The mother fucker was hosting warez sites left and right, got caught, and the server came tumbling down.

I know for a FACT that this kid didn't respond to certain dmca notices, because he was making bank on the traffic that the warez/torrent sites brought in.

What's next? You know as well as I do that you can't corral government powers. Give them an inch and they will take a mile.

It's troublesome to me because the Internet was the last bastion for real free speech. Every week you see more and more regulation being proposed to police and regulate the Internet. Sure it's only what you call a warez site (sorry but a respository for rapid share links is not a warez site) but soon it could be a site taken down for hateful speech or maybe a inflamatory point of view.

Your side is in charge, so all is good........right?
 
It's sickening what's happening to America. It was OK to bash the president when it was Bush,the patriot act, NSA, etc... Now that Obama is president and so many people on this site and elsewhere have their heads stuck so far up his ass there is no turning back for them.

Man up, admit your guy is an ego-maniacal socialist who has done nothing but encroach on our freedoms and further the economic meltdown with ever expanding government control, and maybe we'll have a semblance left of what this country used to be.

I know, because I terminated a client about a month ago who went straight to blogerty. He was hosting (not just torrents or links) movies and television shows. I only found out after I received a DMCA notice. A few days after I terminated his account I was still getting DMCA notices, but only because the idiots sending them didn't actually do a good lookup and the DNS on their end was still pointing at me. I gave them the blogerty contact information and told them the site was hosted there, not with me.

Up until today that site was still online (with blogerty).
 
The only thing I haven't figured out is how I am going to say "I told you so" to all you sheep when the only sites left on the net are huffpost and whitehouse.gov.

OK....Look for the handle "popeyetolUso" on huffpost. The secret phrase that I will use for me to rub the "I told you so" in your face will be "I love comrade Obama and his beautiful wife Michelle"
