Yoga is a powerful practice to being fit, mentally and physically stable and full of energy for your daily routine. There are tons of yoga practices popular in Westernized countries, with Hatha Yoga and it's offspring Iyengar yoga being one of them. These do help people to improve their physical condition, grow self-respect and help relief from stress.

Bikram yoga has nothing to do with it and in most cases is useless if not to say more.

There's a marketing lesson here.
Big time. And btw, I can personally attest that bikram yoga works wonders. I once did 30 classes in 30 days. Hot chicks in those hot rooms, too.

Title of thread should be 'next time your girlfriend goes for second helpings - send her to fucking bikram.'

Been doing hatha yoga for nearly two years now and it's fantastic. It has helped my strength, especially the core muscles, improved my posture a bit, and improved the flexibility of my body. In the second year I started to experience a gentle rush of inner energy. The first time it happened I was in a challenging position when boom this wave of great feeling surged up through my body. It was amazing. It happened often now.

I don't like the hot room idea - the yoga I do is basically a mat, sometimes a wooden brick or a strap or a small curved wooden bench. It sounds like something out of a porn dungeon but man, those exercises stretch muscles I didn't know I had.

I totally recommend hatha yoga.

PS there's a whole sub-culture of naked yoga which might suit some of you gaybos.

I've got posture issues and need to get into something a little easier on my joints. Might need to check out this hatha bidness...
