A bit exaggerated, Hulk's cothes even when they're new don't look like they're worth $4k, especially if Clark Kent suit is $1.5k, probably $400 tops. Besides they didn't take into consideration the value of money:

No. That's like $4000 worth of one year's clothing because you know the guy always buys new clothing every time he changes to be Hulk.
