The Profit, entrepreneur business turnaround show on CNBC

Definitely better than most of the other shit that's on tv currently. I'll probably download a few and make a day to catch up on them.

Watched the first episode tonight. Pretty good. Definitely will be watching this on demand as it goes along

So basically Restaurant Impossible?

i liked that format for a bit, but it got to be the same shit every episode (dumbass woman with no experience bought a restaurant, treated her 9 lazy chick employees like friends, had lame food, decor sucks, went broke, hit up daddy for a loan, blew that too, missed her kids, robert incredulous, remodel behind schedule but barely makes it, smiles & hugs, yadda yadda).

hope this one's different.

I just got done watching the second episode and after Marcus invested $150,000 into a business, the business owner went full douche-bag and reneged on the deal and basically threw him out of the store - essentially stealing $150,000. So, definitely not the always-happy ending of most shows like this.

If that happened to me, I would be 15 shades of pissed and look to devote the next few months and some capital to making that business owner's life hell.

in any show with "NBC" attached that has to do with business, it wouldn't surprise me if the host was contractually required to kick a puppy in the face at the end of each episode.

Did NOT expect the flower shop episode to end that way. People are nuts.

So this is a spinoff of a Gordon Ramsay spinoff?

I loved the part where they're delivering "fresh" flowers in a van without air conditioning and without GPS because the delivery douche thought having an overview over an area is better than just "left, right, left". Fucking lol.

Anybody watched the newest episode?

Fucking lol @ that annoying chick taking 400k out of the company and lying straight to that guys face. Great episode.

Was this the popcorn one?

Yeah

Lots of fails and fuckups in that show so far. Looks like the flower guy from last episode already shut down.
