They eat it raw there i think or just lightly pan seared. My wife is Korean and said they grub the heads too with all the ink and shit in it over there.
 
Live squid can be pretty delicious when served right, unfortunately just sucks when it starts grabbing onto your throat with its suction cups on the way down ;)

I don't what it is about seafood, but I just really do not prefer it. I wish I did cuz I just moved to the Bay Area and it is everywhere here.

I think it has something to do with the fact that almost all major seafood is served looking exactly like the creature. When I order chicken and beef it doesn't come out to me looking "raw/ALIVE". Add to that I'm a picky eater in general and I believe I have issues with the "texture"...slimy shit like that is just nasty to me. I have the same issues with eating stuff like lots of tomatoes or mushrooms blehhh
 
That is nasty, but serves the Korean and Chinese right for their nasty eating habits. These guys will eat anything that crawls, walks, slithers, swims, fly or resides in a womb.
