Thanks for that! I saw this about six months ago and I was actually trying to find it again a few days ago.
I have a spec out on it that's a little more up to date.
Dual quad core mobo, 16Gram on each, Gig ethernet on cluster. 4 mobos and hardware came in at just under $7000.
Imagine the power that fucker'd have if you built it! 32 cores humming along.

That's something you could easily to yourself! Take $10K and buy equipment 5-6 setups. Sell the shit out of it! I know a LOT of CS departments that would spend $3K on a solution like that out of the box.
