Hey guys....

I am thinking about dipping into some PPC marketing and stuff and was wondering if there are some must know/have tips/tricks or tools or anything to have when starting to do this.

Im not new to IM, just really never used ppc that much really.

Thanks for all the replies in advance.

I'm sure some experts will jump in here, but speaking as someone who sucks at regular Adwords advertising, the only thing that works well for me conversion wise is using the site targeted ads feature in Adwords. What you do is research sites in your niche where you think you can draw targeted traffic - I find forums are the best for this - and then you add those urls to advertising JUST on those sites instead of trying to compete on the main Google search pages. I find costs are lower, conversions are much better, and I actually make money doing this instead of dumping all my hard-earned cash into Google's pockets.

My suggestion is to click the first link you see someone post in this thread. It is a good program but I cant remember the url.

Thanks for that. Going to look more into it. Less cost with more return always is better.

I actually just asked a related question a couple days back. First, it's a must to download Adwords Editor (free). Then download Prosper 202 and tracking 202.

spy web isn't a bad free tool either. Lets you check what keywords your competition is using.
