Saw this awhile back. If more people were like this guy, there would be less trash to deal with.

The last two minutes are important to hear, though. Just because someone buys a gun for self defense doesn't automatically bestow cowboy capabilities on them. You have to practice and train, and mentally prepare yourself for the possibility of using it against a person. If one isn't willing to do this, then just leave the gun at home and keep it unloaded.

This is so true. A week ago I heard a loud noise at about 3am that sounded like a door being forced open at the other end of our house. I heard the same sound repeated a few seconds later and that's when I knew someone was either already in the house or trying to get in. I told my wife to stay in the bedroom and I threw on my shorts, grabbed my mini mag lite and my 9mm from the night stand.

It was when I was walking down the hall that I realized I might actually have to shoot someone and I was pretty fucking scared. Even though I've done plenty of range time and even rehearsed break in scenarios at my home, I didn't know what was going to happen and I was seriously worried.

Luckily, there was no intruder and the next day I figured out that some boxes in the attic had fallen over and were the cause of the noises. Everyone wishes for the day that they get to blast some asshole who's breaking into their house, but I don't think I ever want the real thing to play out.

Anyone starting to wonder if he's just shoot every black guy that walks into the store and claiming they were trying to rob him?
