i love this type of music but i seriously do not get tiesto's music, did this guy invent this type of music or something because his shit is like so damn basic it seems. Its like a 12 year old could come up with better more interesting shit than he does. He has like 8 mins songs and the same beat plays over and over for like 2 mins then it switches to some other shitty ass beat that probably took like 3 seconds to throw together then it gets good for like 30 seconds and just goes back to a shitty beat to finish the song.

if he was one of the first then i can understand but his shit is just so damn "basic". I don't know much about techno and shit but if you gave me a thousand dollar program i could make up cooler shit pressing buttons.

What tracks are you referring to?
I listen to trance music a lot and in my opinion most trance tracks are more complex than 80% of the music out there. Sure, he made a few simple tracks (Traffic and Dance4Life come to mind), but those were made for the dancefloor and not like all his other tracks.

i was at Ferry Corsten in Toronto last weekend. that track simply blew my mind live. it was meant to be listened to loud.
 
Ferry Corsten is probably one of my favorite Trance DJ's, he played the after party for the Armin show I went to.

And glad to see there are some Drum n Bass fans here. Maybe I'll start a thread...
