This is why I have a dog and not a cat.

True, dogs are amazing.

But the cat wouldn't have been stupid enough to run across the busy highway in the first place.

that was beyond badass. I reposted it on facebook and right as i hit the submit button my cat tried to jump through a closed window FMP

I was thinking I would stop if I saw this going on, but where? It looks like an expressway with no shoulder...

WTF... That probably would've brightened my day, had the hubby not just come home from work a few hours ago informing me that a (roughly) hundred pound black lab had darted in front of his car while he was doing 75 on the freeway. After burning a 40 ft tread mark in the asphalt, he ran to the dog, who died in his arms as the hubby called the number on the tag and waited for the owners to get there. Top it all off, the entire corner of the front bumper was smashed all the way back to the wheel well... A tragic end to a dog's life, and the owners didn't even offer to pay for the damages.

... and before anyone goes and says I'm heartless for being upset that they didn't offer to pay for the damages, I'm currently fostering three rescue dogs that have cost me plenty already. I also own a husky, and anytime he's gotten out and even so much as ripped up someone's flower bed, I've paid for the damages.

Typical WickedFire, not letting me forget my crappy day for even a few minutes.... jerks... :smokin: Ahh, well, such is life.
