I was just thinking of how to Rick Roll people, and I thought of this.
You could also make some money doing this too haha.
You could tell people they were in a sweepstakes and won, or something along those lines, and to claim their prize they call a 866 number.
The number can have a recording that says "thanks for calling the winners hotline, congratulations, please wait while your call is connected" then it will play Never Gonna Give You Up and every 45 seconds it could say "thanks for your patience" and continue with the song.
I bet people will stay on there for like 40 minutes and you could be billing them by the minute LOL.
The 45 second messages could get more annoying as it goes on. It could be like "thanks for your continued patience, we appreciate your patience", then "10 winners just claimed $4500 each in the last 10 minutes, so thanks for holding, please continue to hold" then "Sorry for the long wait, please never give us up, we will never give you up" then "Are you still here? Sorry we forgot about you, it's been a really busy day giving away so much money" to eventually be a recording of someone answering the phone saying "Hello, thanks for waiting, name please...(beat...)please hold..." then eventually "sorry, your call has been dropped due to network congestion, please visit our website to claim your prize" and then it doesn't give a website, or gives internetisseriousbusiness.com
