I have 1k to burn on anything, but it needs to be productive, something I can turn 1k into 2k or 3k, now i know people will say, stocks, gold, etc etc, but i prefer domains, websites, niche related, any help would be appreciated,

The U.S. mint replaced most of the copper in the penny with zinc in 1982. Finding a bulk source for pre-1982 pennies is probably more difficult than the actual melting.

The melting point for copper is close to 2000 degrees F. I would think you would need a small foundry or kiln to do it safely. Google "backyard foundry" for some ideas.
 
I'm the guy who you predicted would suggest stocks. If it's burning a hole in your pocket... you can afford to forget about it.

Scenario: $1k into an low-fee index fund (eg. VTI) for 30 years with an avg market growth of 9% plus compound interest = $13k.

Then buy a bad ass motorcycle. or pay for your kids honeymoon.

/end boring plan.

Head down to a local strip joint and make it rain...for a few seconds

/end fun plan.
 
1.) Make a suit out of $900 in dollar bills and spend the other $100 to hire Indians to create an ebook about makemoneysonline.
2.)Wear the suit of money as a testament to how wealthy you are, use it to market your ebook.

Edit: you'll be attaching the dollars to existing clothing, or to your naked body. you will need to fasten the bills to your person somehow. The suit will now be 880 $1 bills, you will spend the other $20 on scotch tape.

Sooo you're saying you have $1000, and you only want to use it to buy up some domains or start a niche website. So it sounds like OP can be translated to:

"I can't come up with any of my own ideas, please share your money making ideas with me."
