Tips for finding a new IM guy and structuring the agreement?

I create credible informational products and coaching programs but I don't usually do my own IM. I've worked with IM guys but I've always gotten screwed somehow. I'd love some tips on finding someone good but ethical to work with and how to structure the arrangement so I get my fair share of the money. Thanks!

my tip would be to find someone more specialized to suit your needs with detailed contract in place before any stuff goes down
