Too many Adsense Ads?

Is it possible to have too many Adsense ads on a page?
I don't mean having too many blocks for Google TOS. I mean too many individual ads.
I have been running 3 large rectangles on my pages (along with a link bar). I just wonder if by the time you get to the last block of ads shown, if the bid price on the ads is lower.
Would using a smaller ad block so fewer ads show per page increase the cost per click?
I have had several $.01 and $.03 clicks lately (and all this talk about Google raising prices).:hollering:
 


Yes top bids are (almost) always on top, (smart pricing). So if you have 3 ad units, the last unit will have the smallest ppc.
 
Most of my sites have a link unit under the site banner or name. After the page title (heading at h2) I place a 336 block. At the end of the content I have another 336 block then site links mixed in followed by another 336 block.

I think I'll experiment with some smaller ad blocks in the last place. I think its a case of just too many individual ads showing per page.
