I am not new to internet marketing, but I am new to affiliate marketing. I am used to working on massive ecommerce sites.
Im mindmapping my first affiliate marketing site. I have one main theme that can be separated into brands and into accessories, with the accessories having a lot of products and a lot of supporting pages.
Some of these accessories could easily have their own sites with 20-30 pages of content, so when I talk about niche, Im not talking micro-niche.
To me, it seems like with the authority site, I can build a brand, but my authority and PR is spread thinner over all the pages of the site, taking more work to get steady rankings. Plus, my supporting pages could get really deep into the site structure.
So, authority site or multiple niche sites with 20-30 pages each in this situation?
