Trying to post a thread here without success

Four days ago I was trying to post a thread with a title "Cheap Submission to Thousands of Directories in Minutes - Only $6.95". But until now, I don't know whether it's approved or rejected.

Why the moderator doesn't let the user know the thread status?

New users have all posts moderated (or delayed) until they hit a certain threshold (10, 15, 20?) posts, I believe. That's what happened to me when I first came here, at least.
