So I made a Tumblr for my site and added a bunch of posts. I am new to Tumblr. one of them did extremely well - 2k Notes. I added my link in the description of the blog post but I noticed in a lot of the reblogs it Just showed the image without the description (Which had my link in it) and sometimes it had the description with my link.

How do I have my link on every blog that reblogs my post? Or is that impossible.

Been googling for an hour haven't found anything...

That just means the person reblogging it might have deleted your link when they reblogged your post.
 
Loopholes have been fixed

From memory, you can't delete the image link when you re-post so you can link the image to your post
 
You'll benefit more from all the reblogs pointing to your Tumblr blog and then on your Tumblr page linking to the site.

Unless you're talking like a contexual link in the post and having people reblog that? Then it shows up on their blog and you have more sites linking to it... example:

Tumblr post: NBC News on Tumblr - Move over, Barbie: LEGO releases female scientist... (see the 'continue reading' link?)

To see how it looks in Google, put this in search:
site:tumblr.com "Several months after a 7-year-old girl wrote to complain about the scarcity of “lego girls,” the company has released a"

You will see it's being reblogged with the link.
 
Do they still ban for watermarks. I know a couple paysite owners who got their Tumlogs banned for their watermark on their pictures
 
Wouldn't be for that. Most of the decent tumblr sites watermark and I know that my site is nearly two years old without any issue. Perhaps they did something else and tumblr simply used that as the excuse to boot them.
 
does anyone know of a service that provides reblogs to a certain post? or does anyone have a tumblr with a lot of followers where every single one of their posts have many reblogs? i'd be interested in this type of service, i just need recommendations. thought this would be a nice thread to post in since i can't start threads yet
