I decided to try out a PHPBay-style ebay affiliate site, get everything in order and looking pretty good, only to be turned down. Is ebay trying to crack down on this type of site? Looking at my analytics, I can't even see that someone at ebay ever even visited my site.

I'm from the US and I've never been turned down before anywhere, so it's not like my details could be considered shady. I'm not giving up though, I'm trying Pepperjam or looking for other merchants.

EPN drives me crazy. But it's hard not to build sites for them because it's so freakin' to make coin with them. Unless they have a trackin' hiccup. Or they expire your account. Or any one of a half-goofy things happen because they are just "learning" this affiliate stuff after taking it over from CJ.

EPN is like that psycho girlfriend you had in university that would either give you great sex or kick you in the groin, depending on which day of the week it was.

Have you consider going through Pepperjam for and Ebay affiliate account? I also heard that they are not accepting new U.S. affiliates, but not sure if this is completely true. They might make some exceptions.

Good glad it's not jsut me, I rolled out a few decent sites I thought would do well too (actually starting bringing traffic and converting for a friend), fuckin eGay should of figured..

I just signed up for Pepperjam and my eBay relationship is pending. We'll see if PJ is still approving new ebay affiliates.
