Anyone watch the new (I think) show on ABC called Sharks?

Essentially, people come into a room of 5 millionaires and pitch an idea or business investment. Many are real businesses functioning and others are just ideas / inventions.

The millionaires give them offers or decline the idea entirely. I love seeing how successful people act and seeing the way they think. Hence, New favorite show.

Maybe you guys don't have a US version but isn't that the exact same premise as Dragon's Den?

If it is, I know you can look up at least three seasons of Canadian Dragons Den.

Dragons RAPING the n00bs!!!!! Or kicking the SKANKS to the curb!!!

I LOVE Dragon's Den. Awesome show.

Yes, it's INCREDIBLE just how clueless these RUBES can be while asking for money. Not to mention their idea of how to estimate the value of their business.

Then to top it off they think that they are only going to give up like 5% to 15% of their start up company to these Venture Capitalists. ROFL

That's like a Prom Date thinking that her guy will only put the head of his dick in if they fuck or won't come in her mouth during a BJ!!! LOL

It's the same as dragons den. In fact, it has 2 of the Canadians from dragons den on this new one.

Yeah Dragons Den both the UK and the Canadian are great shows, this is more of the same with the US twist on things... aka dumb down for your audience. Still an awesome show and its funny to laugh at the moronic ideas people actually think will fly.

Thanks for the link. I probably have it On Demand on my FIOS, but I'm downloading it just in case I don't.

Saw the first episode of "Shark Tank" and found it really interesting. The way the millionaires break down numbers was neat, and some of the ideas are off-the-wall.

I've just finished watching the first two presenters and I think that I like the Dragon's Den UK better.

Like pacman0r said, seems that they dumbed it down for the U.S. audience.

I'll still watch this because I'm always interested in how successful people look at things and what they think.
