My god.....

Fight of the year EASILY

Fight of the decade contestant.

I had the same score as the judges for the Hendo vs Rua fight

Top to bottom the card delivered. Would have liked to see Wand get put to sleep but what can you expect from a part time fighter in Cung Le

I'm glad to see Wanderlei get a brutal win, but I think he should retire on it.

I had the final round of Shogun-Hendo 10-8 to make it a draw after Shogun mounted him six times in five minutes.

I'm also glad that Urijah Faber will be fighting for the title again.

+1 on Wandy retiring, he almost got slept by a 39 year old who's past it himself. Vitor would have killed either of them.

Shogun and Hendo, great battle. Great fucking battle, Hendo would have finished him if he didn't gas so hard, he punched himself out + isn't known for having great cardio either.

Both guys were exhausted but Shogun is a warrior, beaten to a pulp and winning the last round BIG rather than just giving up.

I kind of agree with Dana White saying that this fight wouldn't have been good for the FOX broadcast. So much blood for a "new" viewer of MMA to get introduced to. Not to mention that they both gassed hard, I doubt it would have said good things about the overall conditioning of MMArtists to the casual viewer.

And I don't know about a 10-8 on the last round. He was mounting him basically the whole round, but didn't even look close to finishing the fight once, he didn't land one HARD shot to Hendo that whole time he mounted him. Hendo wasn't hurt at all, he was just tired. Shogun on the other hand was dropped HARD and looked close to caving at least 3 times throughout the fight.

Did you see their shorts at the end? Started out white, by the end both of their shorts were pretty much complete red, fucking war.

But I don't know, seemed like a 10-8 to me on the last round. If that's not a 10-8, not sure what is.

cant believe i missed it. I was thinking the fight wasnt gonna happen till this coming saturday since theres been like what 2 events already in the past 2 weeks and now they do this one? Usually they do like 2 events in a 2 week span and then the next event doesnt happen for another month. Kinda pissed I missed out.

I did see the videos though, and to be honest that hendo and shogun fight was good. but when everyone here was saying fight of the year I dunno. I guess it was fight of the year material since I can't remember any other memorable fights, but id say it was an above average fight. It wasn't as entertaining as those slug fests and I think that BJ penn nick diaz fight was probably more memorable.

Still a good fight.
