UK Hosting?

Hey Guys,

I would like to build an affiliate campaign for a product that targeted for people in the UK. I'm not exactly sure how which way I should tackle this.

Should I:

1. Buy a co.uk domain and simply add it to my us hosting account?
2. Buy a co.uk domain and host in with a hosting company in the UK?

2a. Which hosting company do you recommend for shared hosting? In the US, i'm currently using hostgator and I like them a lot.

I've got an account with BigWetFish and had no problems.

I would suggest, use a .uk domain, use webmaster tools to set the target for it and focus on getting links from other UK sites.
