Unblockable Proxy

At work I cannot get to Facebook or Myspace (for advertising) and most of the "proxy" sites are also blocked since they are flagged as "anonymizers"

Is there a way to build/install a proxy that is really undetectable and/or would a password protected site be harder to detect on a filter system?

I was never able to figure out a way to do it through proxies at the place I used to work at. My husband still works there and he gets around the problem by going to logmein.com and logging on to one of our units at home and checking his email that way (his work blocks yahoo)

Thanks turbo. I was just trying to find a quick/easy solution.

I don't think I'll have that big of a problem in a few weeks here as I should be getting my Bold and then can check Facebook from it (I don't have a problem getting to FB from my iPod touch so I hope I won't have a problem on my Bold either)

Get a VPS or the likes in the country you want to browse through. You can set up a proxy service through that.

This, but you can use SSH tunneling instead of a proxy script so it'll be even more undetectable. You could even setup a box at your house and use that as a tunnel.

+1 For the SSH tunnel. It will also encrypt your traffic meaning your work can't find out anything you are doing by analysing the traffic.
