For those on the advertiser / end user side of the biz, has anyone worked with or bought leads from Underground Elephant?

My first impression is not great of them so wanted to double check in here.

Thanks.

I've had a bad experience with them as well. I haven't bought leads from them, but I sent them traffic and they acted very unprofessional.

never worked with underground elephant i prefer cpa penguin and bieber web assets

Underground Elephant is a scam. They use the phone book to generate leads and then sell them to as many companies as possible and hope at least one of them doesn't bone them for payment or return the leads.

Their lead gen formula:
1) Grab phone book and flip to random page
2) Enter 'lead' into excel file
3) Sell 'lead' as 'exclusive' to 5 different companies
4) Hope no one returns
5) Wear elephant costume
6) .......
7) Profit?

How does elephant costume not equal profit? It's important when working with UE that you establish terms in advance, I got net-never, and so far they haven't missed a payment.

The owner used to own a company here in San Diego called Ad Authority. I'd stay far away his business model then was screwing people and still is now.

I'm going to pile on the negative experience. They generated a bunch of leads for me last year that were worth exactly $0.

One of their network managers approached me at Ad-tech about working together, that guy just reeked of something shady.

NEVER TRUST THEM, NEVER TRUST A KULPA OWNED COMPANY, IF YOU LIKE GETTING BURNT THEY ARE A GREAT COMPANY TO WORK WITH.

LOL@hardcore! Worked for the CEO of UE for a few years, DO NOT TRUST. Excel generated leads FTW!
