United States government supports a resolution calling for removing Israel's nuclear capability, while the resolution ignores Iran's nuke push.

The article

As tired as I am of the problems in the Middle East, I'm not exactly sure the best idea to solve this problem is to subtly indicate that it's open season on our ally.

There will never be a nuclear free middle east. Nuclear weapons are
the reason isreal is still on the map.

Israel should have never had any nukes in the first place. Israel only exists because the US needs them there. Iran has a right to nuclear technology. Every country in the middle east (and the world) has the right to security and sovereignty. I'm fucking sick of the US govt. dictating what a nation can and cannot do. If I was in charge of Iran I'd have done what Pakistan did and told America and Israel to fuck off while doing what they've already done, become a nuclear power. This may puzzle many of you, but Israel was, is and will be a threat to all the countries in the region. They have the nukes, they pull the strings. And you don't need to bomb a country to damage it, the threat is sufficient. Until there is a balance of power, this will continue. Israel and the US on top, while countries like Iran continue to get screwed.

I understand Israel's paranoia, they have good reason for investing in defense, their arab neighbors seem intent on their total destruction. But what can they expect, their country was founded on already occupied land, and they continued to expand their occupation and commit war crimes. Anything Hamas or any muslim group does will always pale in comparison to what the Israelis have done. Bulldozing people's homes while they are still living in them, blocking access to schools, not providing clean water facilities, being trampled on like that makes people go to war. I'm sure many Palestinians would rather die than live in the shithole Israel has left them.

Let's look at it this way - in the final days on Armageddon (the biblical battleground, not the dictionary term), all modern weapons will not work. There will be no tanks, no nukes, no guns.

Who has nuclear weapons honestly doesn't matter.

You can't be serious! How will we survive?

Ooh those poor, pitiful Palestinean suicide bombers. Always being shat on by the man. Peace be with them.

Wake the fuck up Demon .. you've been brainwashed. I know they tried on me too. Blocking access to schools != blowing up random people you fucktard. You just gave some really, really bad examples.

And don't get me wrong, I'm for not giving any monetary/military support to Israel ... Just as I am for pulling our military and not giving any other country a penny of our GDP. We have our own problems to deal with, let the middle-east burn. When it becomes a global issue (like WWI/II) we'll do what we always have to because the rest of the world is too weak to take care of their own problems.

Damn dude this is spot on. The part I agree with most is that we have our own problems to deal with and that should be our main focus.

This thread, like most of the other political threads at wickedfire are the exact reason I come to this board.

For affiliate marketing advice.

I wish Israel would just nuke Iran and get it over with, turn that shit hole theocracy into a parking lot already and do the world a favor. Dumb ass terrorists are gonna keep blowing shit up regardless, at least get rid of their sponsor and logistical support. Russia and China aint gonna give a fuck and Egypt and Syria will keep quite hoping they don't get lit up next, and Pakistan knows if they get uppity India will make their life hell and take back Kashmir. Israel nuking Iran would be the biggest non-event of the century.

One of the biggest threats to world peace hopefully getting disarmed of their nukes - a plus in my book.

Those crazy middle eastern motherfuckers are like dirty fighting 4 year olds. Why give one a great sword and the other not? Let them both fight with boxing gloves. The last we need is one nuking the other - seriously, think about it if you're a pro-peacer.

America would no doubt get dragged into it and if you think our economy is in the dumps now wait till Halliburton starts charging tax payers $30 per plastic plate on a WWIII scale (not just Iraq).

If anyone had to nuke anything I would hope that they'd just nuke the holy land off the map already so these dumb motherfuckers would stop fighting over it already. Sink that bitch like Atlantis and that's one big step towards world peace.
