user reviews site - worth it?

I've had an idea for a user review site based around a particular niche.

The reviews will have aff links to the relevant site they are reviewing but people generally only review negatively, which I imagine said aff site wont be too happy about.

I'm *guessing* they will disable/withold funds as ransom or some such, at some point.

Has anyone here done something similar, maybe I'm being paranoid?
 


Be sure to disclose your affiliations properly (above the fold and in clear, visible print) or the FTC is going to love you tenderly.

Maybe it's me but how can you sell something with negative reviews? Have you thought about talking with an affiliate manager? They usually can give advice.
 
remove the aff links to the sites getting bad reviews. take a high converting offer that gets mostly positive reviews, link to a review of it at the bottom and tell your visitors they should check it out, put your aff link on that page. click boom done
