I'm struggling with the concept of coming up with intelligent landing pages that do a good job pre-selling the product before the user clicks through to the affiliate site. Has anyone ever tried using a graphic meant for large-size popup or email offers (like a lot of the azoogle campaigns make available) as the only content on a landing page? If so, how well did it convert?

I've had rough time making good profits from email/zip offers. At least with Adwords. You can't use them with 7search & co. since they are only for US people and 7search & co provide international traffic. If click costs $0.15 in Adwords, it's pretty tough job to optimize it to convert somewhere around 1:10.

i've done so several times.
if the creative is well-designed and manages to clearly state what the product is and communicate what is to be expected from the offer, it could really work.

no luck for me on email/zip offers using this method for me either though.

Now I'm thinking, probably would get a low adwords quality score if it's just a picture there with no actual "text" content.
