Using "Product Links" in search engines instead of "Keyword Links" on CJ

Hey guys,

Was curious if y'all ever had the privilege to use "Product Links" in search engines instead of "Keyword Links" with CJ affiliates. If you are trying to promote a retail affiliate (selling handbags, halloween costumes, furniture, etc), you'd have a higher conversion rate if the landing page was more direct than just throwing them onto their main site, where the user may just bounce annoyed that they weren't directed to what they wanted in their original search in the engines.

Anyone know the rules to using product links as opposed to keyword links? Anyone ever get in trouble for doing this? Anyone ever praised by the affiliate cotnact for doing this? Just curious as one of my affiliates has over 10,000 products, and using the product landing pages, while it may be a LOT more work, would help out my budget. Thanks,

No rules against it, but most programs don't let you directly link, as you'd be using their own domain name as your visible URL. Best way around this is to build your own landing pages (using a scraper would be the easiest way).
