i want to sign up at another message board but they only allow 1 username per person. they track the ip i'm pretty sure and their system probably tells them if the same person is using two accounts with the same ip.

if i use a proxy during registration, will my second account be undetected by them? or will i have to use the proxy each time i want to login and post on their site?

mods: sorry i accidently posted in the wrong forum

If you use a proxy during registration, they won't catch the ips matching. The system does allow more than one registration per ip, but there is a hack that some admins use (I've used it) that flags registrations coming from the same ip.

The only time you would need to use the proxy again is if you post. Once you post, it logs that ip.
