vBulletin in Plesk (windows) vs Linux (SEO Value) Come on Mods!

Alright,

Getting ready to launch my first forum using vBulletin's software. Before I take the plunge, I wanted to here some of your pro's and cons vs Linux and Windows.

Notes: I have a windows dedicated and Linux shared hosting.

I would like to put it on by Windows server but have read that Mod Re-Writes can be tricky.

Your thoughts?

you should be fine on windows. i would definitely be putting vbulletin on my dedicated hosting vs shared hosting regardless of OS.

Thats what I was thinking but I have been reading a ton of reviews that say it's better on Linux for re-writes alone. Not a programmer though, not sure what to do (leaning the same way you are though)
