VICE suck. They make up total bullshit - just look at the North Korea one.. making out as if it was the first time a westerner had gone into the country.. they went on a fucking tour guide of the place which anyone can do and most countries have diplomatic relations with North Korea. She's fucking ugly and the guys that watch those videos have no taste. Someone needs to buy her some shampoo so she can wash the fucking grease out of her fucking hair. All the reply girls are total fucking skanks. Bringing attention to herself with a VICE video pretty much ensured she's gonna have her Adsense account shitcanned.. dumb fucking bitch thinks what she does is a business lol. Can't blame her for milking it for all she can though while she can, a stupid woman like that doesn't have many options in life. She's got a taste of whoring and once they shit can her, she'll be out selling her pussy.

So...not being up to date on what YouTube pays per view, I did a little research and came up with this formula on Answers.com.
Youtube's payout schedule:
$ 0.0033/1 view
$ 3/1,000 view
$33/ 10,000 views
$330/ 100,000 views
$3300/ 1,000,000 views
Looking at the video, that girl had 23MM views since last July. Using the above chart, that means she did $75k for this past year. Is that right? Is Google really paying people that much?

The CPM really depends on what your demographic is and where your views are coming from. If you are a straight up YouTube partner, your CPM varies from video to video. What you are quoting is on the high end. Generally the CPMs I've seen from talking to other YouTube partners ranges from $1.50-$3.75
My guess is the reply girls are lower than the $3 CPM that you quote there. The sad part is that they can bust out 20-50 videos a day, while we are lucky to bust butt and do one video a week. Yet sometimes they will triple or quadruple our view count. I hope that YouTube continues to tweak their algorithm to shut these people down.
The latest tweak meant to take them down took into account the amount of thumbs downs, spam reports, and time spent on video. A lot of people thumbs these videos down and bounce really quick from them. This causes YouTube's algorithm to not count the views.
