I just saw this on Yahoo's front page (yeah I hate it when it actually catches my eye and I waste time). Anyway, I think it's pretty cool because I'm into building shit.

Backyard Roller Coaster - Yahoo! Video


I built a bar in my house last year and it's nicer than 90% of the ones in "real" bars. My next project is to build a pimp desk because I can't find one that I like. Most desks really are shit.

I can't wait to buy a new house next year to have a large enough yard to be able to dig a pool and set up a cool tiki bar and waterfall and shit.

Anyone else into building crazy shit that most people wouldn't dream of doing?

Thats a pretty sweet video and Oh Dude you have no clue, I've got the ultimate version of a house in my head, as soon as I get a few extra bucks I'm going to get some blueprints drawn up, on the outside its going to be look like an old school castle (Like the one in smallville lex luthers haha), a brick wall all away around it, on the inside its going to be the most technologically advanced house known to man, I cannot even begin to explain what I've got planned for it haha just so much things, I'll cost a fortune but I'll definatly build it before I die.
 
Haha thats great - love to see the accident reports he tries to file if/when he gets worked in a homemade rollercoaster mishap ;)

I have kind of similar - but different aspirations. I want the look of my house to be pretty muted. Stylish, but refined. But yeah, I want it to be high-tech. Thing is, I can do most of the cool stuff myself: installation, programming, construction of different stuff, etc. so I just need to find the right house. I'm not even looking for a huge house, just one that sits close enough to the water for my taste and sits on at least 5 acres of land. I'll definitely have to build, not buy, come to think of it.

Have any pics of your bar? I've always wanted to do that in my place once I get one built.
 
I built a waterfall by the front door of my house out of rocks from a farmers field. Ohh, and a potato gun that mounted to the roof of a Jeep; it turned 360 degrees for drive-bys and to take care of those pesky tail-gaters.
