Votes dem, moves money offshore. Does no evil.

I don't think questioning the legality of it.

Just that the the same people who vote to raise taxes are then turning around and going out of their way to avoid them.

It's a little hypocritical.

Reminds me of how lefties preach about open borders but then move to lily white neighborhoods at first chance.

When I began my business life... I was an optimist with a left leaning view... over time I have moved to a "save my self, save my clan" mentality. If the game allows me to shelter money.. I will!

Anyone have any recommendations for good accountants in the Baltimore area?

If not does anyone have good places to find top tier accountants like these?

My current accountant was great for where my business was 2 years ago, but probably not for where my business is going right now.

The only people who I'll let stick their fingers in my pocket for ANY of my money are the wife and kid.

Otherwise I want the choice of what charities I'm giving to.

Or maybe, Google doesn't consider a huge state and high tax rates to be very 'democratic'?

It seems to me that American politics would be better if liberal social views didn't come with the desire for nanny state taxes and that fiscal conservatism didn't come bundled with social control politics.

So how do you pay for those welfare programs?

Social liberalism is such things as not storming a house with swat teams just because someone is selling a bit of herb or dressing cops up as prostitutes as to make them commit crimes.

What the average american calls liberalism is simply socialism.

Even if you disagree with taxes imo you should still be paying them, almost everyone else is. Sure campaign , lobby, do whatever you want to change the situation to the way you want, if you have enough support it will happen. That's how a democracy is supposed to work (notice supposed to).

IMO I would rather a small business moved cash overseas than a large corporation like Google. The small business is more likely to use a greater proportion of that money for new staff in the future whereas a lot of Google's cash will be moving into certain peoples bank accounts (perhaps?).

So companies should pay taxes when they don't have to legally? Why stop there? Why not have companies donate extra money to the government on top of taxes?
