I'm looking for a VPS Host. Lots of options out there, so looking for recommendations.

I don't mind paying more if it's worth it, but at the same time everyone wants to keep their costs down. So I'm looking for the best you can get for your money...what are the good deals out there.

Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestions everyone, I will definitely check all of these out.
I'd like to get a few more replies, to see if there is a specific host that two or
more members are recommending.

If money isn't the problem and you dont mind paying more get a dedicated server.

I just didn't feel it was needed. I figure why waste the money when it's not needed.

Here's what happened on my XSserver VPS yesterday:

Had a semi-recent backup so I didn't lose too much stuff... but WTF @ power outage causing massive data loss? Needless to say, I'm GTFOing.

If you don't need managed support, me.

... and if you need managed support, me :anon.sml:

I can hook you up with a fully managed 1 GB RAM VPS @ $10 per month if you don't need cPanel or $25/month if you want cPanel.

If you need more RAM, you can have a 3 GB RAM VPS @ $25/month without cPanel or $40/month with cPanel.

Do you need an unmanaged VPS? In that case, subigo FTW.

Do you need a managed VPS? In that case, PM me.

Oh and if you want to work with a company that's not active on WF and don't mind paying more (in some cases considerably more), you can't go wrong with LiquidWeb or Servint IMO. These two companies are "retail" hosting providers but their reputation is impressive for a reason.
