Looking to get my feet wet in PPC, I'm going to start out with p202, a bunch of landers and a geoip db.
I want to keep it lightweight and fast (as possible), while I test. I'm happy to upgrade/move to dedi as necessary, but right now I just want to learn/test.
Besides lamp, p202 and a geo ip db, is there any other essentials I will need on the server?
My other vps's I've used debian, installed lamp, disabled smtp and changed ssh port - is debian the right choice?
