This video starts off slow - but he makes some VERY good points that I'm pretty sure almost EVERY military member would agree with - heck I know I do... Youtube has stopped the counter on this video to keep it from getting to the most viewed section.

Yep - and even if you DON'T support Ron Paul the guy makes some points that all Americans should know about. That bit about the contractors making LOADS of cash while doing next to nothing and chilling inside the wire is VERY true - I have a standing offer for 6 figures a year to do that when I get out if we are still in Iraq then. Good deal for me - but bad for the American taxpayer.
 
Ron Paul is amazing, but it would be a surprise if he could win. When I mention Ron Paul, it takes 10 minutes for anyone to even figure out who I'm talking about and then they don't even give a shit or want to hear about him because all they care about is keeping Obama and Clinton out of the office- and to do that, they're just going to vote for whoever has th best chance of winning.
 
To bad Dr. Paul has no chance of ever winning a Presidential election. He does have some good ideas but he is to abrasive and a few of his ideas are to far out there.

You can't run on the premise that you are getting rid of the IRS,FBI etc and expect to win. There is no way he would get the support needed in congress and the senate to every pass most of his platform.

Oh and no way we will ever drop Israel in the grease and leave them high and dry.

Ya, it's pretty obvious that he won't win, but that won't prevent us from supporting him. However, he is bringing invaluable ideas to the forefront of the election that other mainstream canidates are going to have to decide on come crunch time.
 
Wow, Ron Paul is the shit. And that video makes some very excellent points. I hate it when he goes for interviews; all the anchorman wants to do is rip him a new one, and they don't let him explain his point. I wish we could get all of America, sit them down, and let them listen to Dr. Ron Paul. I'm sure he'd win his election then.

EXACTLY - even if he doesn't do ANY higher in ANY of the primaries than he did in Iowa at 10% the mere fact that he's AROUND will force the other candidates to take a look at why he HAS supporters like he does and possibly make them re-evaluate some things (slim chance I know - but better than nothing eh?)

I'm looking forward to NH :D
