Ever stop and think about how the overwhelming majority of the earth's population lives in dire poverty?

We are the .001% that has figured out how to navigate and manipulate this massive and rapidly changing Internet network we call home.

Just 10 years ago, my job didn't exist outside of a scifi novel.

I'm glad it's starting to become more hip to be in tech, we should get laid more because of this.

And 29 years ago internet don't exist :P
It's so crazy when you thing about this. Now you can spam millions pages every day :P Thank you internet !

I frequently think about the dreamworld that I live in, and how lucky I am (for lack of a better word).
I never have to answer to answer to anyone, never have to be anywhere, wake up at a certain time. I travel the world year round and explore things that the minions will never understand (currently writing from Barcelona). Through this I am able to see outside of the tiny box that so many live their lives in.
I'm not rich, but I live a very comfortable life. This is the first time in history that people like me can even exist. And even now the other 99.999999% of the world still doesn't get it. Maybe I don't either though...

I get to fap 10x a day, read forums, pretend to work, live with my parents, have an office in my room and make no money..

life is good..

Well, not so unique any more.

I am living in Communist China.

I can tell you, many Chinese are enjoying as comfortable and modern lives as we may have in West.

In Europe, we are as rich as Americans and enjoy comfortable lives.

And maybe, you have successful lives in America, because you have good skills.
But I have heard and read plenty of articles, about Americans living in poverty.
I like to listen to American radio, and this is hard to hear for <<feeding america>> etc...

For French, America was and still is, a kind of legend.
In China, there is too a high opinion about the US economy.

But , from what I can read & hear about the USA, it seems heart breaking.

Families kicked out from their homes, can't pay their debts, any more.
The biggest prison population of the world, per inhabitant.
A tremendous violence, including gun violence.
A huge drug business.

I even heard, you do not have yet a universal social security.
As a consequence, some poors must put mess, in order to go to jail enough long, to get healed in jail.

America, such a great nation, which made so much for Europe...
Yeah, you made a lot for France, my fellow countrymen may have memory troubles, but for my part, I remember the landmark about 3rd Armored Division which liberated my area, led by General Rose.

It is too sad.

Yeah, I figure if people in the middle east had internet + MMORPG's they wouldn't have time to dick around hating us.

Also, umm yea I used to work construction, now I can make shitty 3d games that run on mobiles, thanks to information from the internet. Along with all the tutorials, code, and other resources that are there only for those looking.

OP, don't get too excited... the game is tougher today than it was last year, and it was tougher last year than it was the year before... you get the idea, it's getting more and more competitive and to stay on top today you have to work harder.

If you're doing client work, you better not take your clients for granted and make sure you're delivering A+ work at A+ pricing, or your clients might slip away. (c.f. they get inundated by phone calls and emails from your competitors DAILY)

If you're doing AM/SEO, you know that there are millions of people each year that are jumping on the bandwagon and doing the same thing we do. Sure 99% of them don't know what the fuck they're doing and will probably fail, but that 1% who will succeed is still a large number to compete with.

I have to agree. I woke up at 14.30 this tuesdays with two twenty year old Thai girls in my bed (not whores), stayed in bed all day, ordered roomservice, leisuresly got up aound 18.00 checked my emails, checked my commissions, concluded that I had made more sleeping than my peers in jobs and then went back to bed. Today, I'm in Hong Kong going to Shenzhen in a few days.

Yeah, life is good, but it wasn't luck, it was exactly how I wanted to live 3 years ago before I stumbled unto affiliate marketing and it took a hell of a lot work to make it work.

But yeah, it's good to be humble.

Actually ... yep ... I work in my shorts (like the guy I once read about in some direct mail piece) in my apartment in Italy overlooking a castle and some hills. Took a lot of effort to get here though.
