Lately I had 2 really strange errors come up, that somehow I managed to pinpoint but wanted to know if this is a known bug, hosting issue, or whatever.

Incident 1: My content writer was updating an existing page and every time he went to hit the "update" button he would be taken to a 404 page. Come to find out WP did not like the word "find" within the body of text, which was plain text without any major markup other than some i and strong tags. We removed the word find, WP acts OK.

Incident 2: New domain, separate hosting, both most up to date WP versions. This time I was editing a body of text, hitting update as I go to preview how it looks and when I hit update on one occassion, it would erase my text and take me to the actual page I'm editing, not the WYSIWYG editor. It actually erased all of the text from the entire session. Armed with the knowledge I found earlier in the week. I started deleting sentences one by one and when I deleted "April 2012 Update" ...it worked fine. In this case, WP does not like the word "update."

Nevertheless I managed to do a grammar workaround in both cases but was just wondering if anyone else is or has experienced this - I've been using WP since 2.0x and have never seen this.

Never have I ever had this problem. Bro it was aliens

My guess would be mod_security. Try disabling it and see if that does it.
