I'm staunchly nonpartisan. It's one of the reasons I avoid participating in the political threads (though I enjoy reading the different perspectives). That said, I'm always fascinated by societal trends.

The details are humorous. Especially when you mutter "we're doomed" to yourself after each paragraph (great idea from Scott Adams). But, the broad premise is riveting.
