WF should have a web chat feature

skype is good. but access to good rooms is by concensus invite only. If you have to ask, you'll never know.

Plus having 10-20 people on open mic isn't very fun.

There are no open mic chats in skype I'm in, just typing ones, similar to irc...

I thought about it and have to agree that wf chat can be a handy feature. Not a regular web chat, but web based irc client. This way you can use wf or mirc or whatever people find convenient. Any conversation with decent info, if shared publicly, can be added to the new section on wf and discussed further, similar to .hack's new category setup. Would be great if there are a few mods/respected members willing to monitor and repost the gems to make sure there is no garbage and duplicate shit.
It would also be cool for this new section on wf to be opened only to established members, with post count/join date thresholds.
