What cart software are the big diet offers using?



I use limelight, which is great, but they do not have a coupon module on their system which is a HUGE drawback if you are trying to run a legit supplement business and want to track performance
 
Talked to those guys around September last year, they said they will have it ready by end of the year.

Talked to them again at the end of the year, they said it is scheduled for 2nd quarter 2012

Talked to them again, they said it is still being developed.

I really think they should focus more on developing the coupon module than integrating all the stupid gateways and merchant processors.
 
So this is why all those rebill sites use the same layouts?
(I hate this layout by the way, and I doubt it's the best possible converting one)
 
@Jardini. If you're not satisfied with Limelight, you should consider Span6. It was created by developers using RoR making it highly customizable and it is fully supported. If you want custom features built into the software, it's an easy process.

Glad you picked those instead of any of my sites.

You can use any of the named softwares, plus more, the real key is getting a developer who can integrate that shit well without a bunch of errors or other clusterfucks that cost you money down the road.

I use NickCR on here, he's an amazing coder and a damn nice guy, but don't go getting up in his grill about this, I have one project I just sent him and another a week behind.

I don't use limelight, the back end exploits are brutal if you don't know (or hire someone who knows) what is up.

They have said they are adding it. They have not disclosed a specific release date as of yet.

A few of my customers needed coupon codes with LimeLight and didn't have time to wait so I added a coupon module that runs locally on your web server.

The only issue is that we cannot change the shipping price so trial offers need to have the price on the product instead of the shipping.

Based on how much they charge for gateway integration's, this isn't in anyway surprising.

From a systems point of view I can say that UltraCart is much more developed and constantly improving and their API is much more robust with features such as coupon codes and state, city, zip validation.
 
I heard UltraCart is good. This was from some gay webmasters.

It's also nice, whoever you choose, to have a dev that is not only a good developer, but experienced with direct response marketing. It helps a lot.

I've used LimeLight and been happy enough with it, but if I do another offer in the diet space I will try UltraCart based on recommendations of someone I trust.

I should have closed with /sarcasm to make it more clear that I was mimicking Grindstone coming in here, telling all that Limelight has a hole, and then disappearing for good.

It was an attempt to get the guy to elaborate on his post. Guess I thought you fags would get that.

So, any news on that front, Grindstone?
