Building a site where I need to do everything vimeo plus does, except for a commercial customer - education paid videos. It looks like even under Vimeo plus you cannot host commercial videos.

Any suggestions from experience ?

Thanks. That is just file hosting right ?

1. That will require a video script like flowplayer right ?

2. Can I restrict the site that can embed/play the file?

3. What precludes someone from downloading the video directly?

1. Yeah, you'll need a video script.

2. Not sure. I'm guessing you could use DL Guard to restrict access.

3. You stream the video.

I'm not 100% sure about any of this, so others please chime in.

Nothing really.

The live streaming suggestion above will stop most users.

But anyone with Camtasia can record their screen and capture the audio from external speakers if they want it bad enough.

You can only protect stuff to certain level. Don't sweat the rest.

I know that they can screen record. I am just talking about your average user not being able to download it.

Adobe MEdia server looks to be the gold standard of self-video hosting. Anything else I should be looking at ?
