I've been running a dating offer and have about a 4% conversation rate. I'm wondering what kinds of conversation rates do successful offers have?

I'm direct linking.
Also, no specific targeting besides what the offer requires.

Share some of your experiences please.

Really depends on the offer. Some dating offers are single opt, some are double opt, others can just be an app install. It can range anywhere from 5% to 30% conversion rate.

App install converts better than a single/double opt. Single opt converts better than a double opt. But what counts at the end is the EPC. The double opt may have the lowest conversion rate, but the payout is usually higher, so the EPC may be the same or even better.

Do you notice the conversation rate drop/increase depending on how many ads your running?
I might be jumping to conclusions here but I noticed after just half a day my conversation rate drop to almost nothing when I went from running 18 ads to running 2 ads of the same offer, do you have the same experience?

You're probably having a 4% conversion rate because of un-targeted traffic. Make an actual marketing plan and pick an angle to market the offer to your target market.

I think a good "conversation rate" depends on what you have to say. If you talk about boring things, then your conversation rate will be lower....however if you have some fun and interesting ideas to share, your conversation rate will be higher. It's true. I read it online.

Lol, I agree... :D I've had really good conversation rates with my wife.

Conversion rates (CVR) however depend heavily on types of product / offer - mainly on what is asked from the user. The less commitment it takes for the user, the higher the CVR - and vice versa. If your dating offer is a run-of-the-mill popular offer, you should be able to push it into xx% with some tweaking.

Stop being an asshole. You're missing a lot of stuff thereby depriving the OP of helpful information. A good conversation rate also depends on who you're having the conversation with, what interests you share, the environment/context, whether you want to fuck this person you're having a conversation with and millions of other interconnected factors (such as whether you urgently need to use the bathroom or how hungry you are).

I don't think your 4% rate is all that abnormal

I usually target for around 10% myself but of course it depends on so many other factors

There are so many factors it's really hard to say; conversion rates for even the FB app installs are up an down (being opt-in). I'd honestly say it more depends which side of the bed an advertiser woke off on than anything it seems.
