what is the best thing to start SEO?



I'd suggest you to start with reading about finding good keywords because they are the footstone of your SEO efforts.. If you choose the wrong keywords then all your other efforts would go to waste
 
there was some online course once called the challenge, i think it's still there but not so up to date. that's a really good start in my opinion, i used to send there every new IM'er i met but that was like 2 years ago. btw, i've noticed that some of the best IM'ers i know are former content writers and copywriters, maybe that can be a good start too

The Challenge
 
I suggest you make a blogger, wordpres blog, hub page, squidoo lens, etc. Work on this site so that you can understand the basics. These sites are free to start so its a little less overwhelming and you wont waste money.

If your ready to move onto a hosted site than you could use your practice site for backlinks.
 
THis is good to take start being a content writer but for that what you need is speed which will come with time and being a hard worker counts more than anything, if you are a creative guy plus a hard worker you have enough potential to grow up like a IM dude ;)

Agreed keyword research is the first thing you should focus on learning and mastering. Without it you are nothing. The better you are at keyword research the easier everything else will be.
 
first of all try learning about directories, social media, social book marking and content writing and link building thing.
 
First thing's first: build a website.
Tip: don't get emotionally attached to your sites.
Tip2: don't put all your eggs in one basket. Differentiate.
Tip3: don't copy what someone else is doing or writing about, but try to understand why they are doing what they are doing.
Reminder: you won't become a millionaire over night.
 
bro if you are good at english, get ur gears ready for writing content for promoting some site, another side of seo
 
if you wana make money, BMR posts are the best one you want to rely on...beside this, there is no involvement of hell lot of words to put in, hardly 150-200
 
Start with on-site SEO before you move to off-site. No point building backlinks to a site that looks hopeless from Google's perspective.
