My Journey Through AM And the Point I'm to now.

I came into this game via NE3 and have only tried one niche (and/or offer) at this point. I've tried to run this offer on facebook once and got terrible traffic and ended up putting me in the hole about 45$. I scrapped facebook and just moved on to google because i had the keyword research with campaign sniper. And because i knew it would be good to learn the ropes through google seeing that it's way more in depth then facebook. I get this campaign in motion finally just a few days ago and im still not getting that many impressions and my CTR is still terrible. I've only had about 20 clicks with 25k impressions altogether and i'm probably 50$ in the hole through this experience that i've had so far. most the money i lost was because of my little venture that i took through facebook. I had almost all apps traffic (which is HORRIBLE traffic) to my offer with facebook so i just paid for a bunch of useless traffic. So no conversions through this far in my AM venture BUT i have learned a tremendous amount of information through that 50 something $. Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated.
 


stop your google campaign, your amount of impressions to clicks is terrible. Pause it and rethink your campaign, your ads aren't up to par.

If you let it continue with such a poor ctr the google god will look down on you.
 
Yeah.. Thanks for telling me that. I've had a bad experience with google thus far. I had a landing page that i found and it did terrible with fb. Now im direct linking and it's getting more impressions but the CTR is just as terrible... i will delete this campaign asap
 
Save your cash, put at least 2 - 5 grand aside, read the stickies, and I really suggest, if you are brand new to AM go with PPS (pay per sale) it will save you a lot of bullshit, especially where Adwords is concerned.
 
I'll definitely read the stickies.. but atm i really dont have a few grand to set aside. it's more like a few hundred '-.- but i gotta start with what i got. i have somewhat of some support from family so im not THAT worried about my capital. I'm not too familiar with PPS though maybe you could tell me a little more about it.. i havent heard of that for adwords untill you just said that now..

(Oh.. and yeah.. this is my first month of being in the AM game.)
 
Pay per sale is just being paid on sales & not a lead or an action, it's up to you I only mentioned it coz your a freshman and google is phasing out CPA style shit (re-bills), even banning people for it.

Of course there's other traffic sources, but who are we kidding, google is king when it comes to traffic.
 
Okay, I'll look into that pay per sale for future purposes. But for now im deleting this campaign dude. I dont see it being profitable unless i change some stuff around and rethink what im doing. I'm really considering going to facebook social ads because it's easier to research and optimize to try to make profit. So i think ill look into some facebook before i go back to adwords. If this is wrong let me know cuz i need all the feedback i can get.

Well they are both totally different beasts, I don't advertise on facebook so I couldn't tell ya, either way you are spending money to test.

I hear that PPS doesnt work to well on FB, but then again I haven't tested it.

... What are you asking soulpeace? all i was showing was what i've been through with Affiliate Marketing so far. what was so hard to understand? Maybe i can clearify something?
