I'm sure this is a pretty much open ended question but I was wondering which network is the best or which is outstanding in any way?

Ultimately i've tried Max-Bounty, Cop-eac and Pepper-jam and none of them really fit my needs or style.. where should I try next?

I see that you have tried some of the CPA affiliate networks so I assume that you are looking for a CPA network. Here is another CPA affiliate network which provides very good offers and pays on time. Here the link: http://www.revenuegateway.com. All the best.
 
No such thing as best..sign up with a few..that will give you a good amount of offers and payout comparisons...some interfaces are better than other..

I think it was mentioned above "What's your style?" if you ask a better question typically you get a better answer. So let us know what you're looking for and we'll point you in the right direction.
