Hard Work Is The Answer

I had a new campaign come close to it's daily budget, so I raised it from $1500 to $5500 for that 1 campaign. Almost immediately every search campaign stopped and all keywords (even "great" qs kw's) now say "Ads Showing: No. You have reached or exceeded your budget."

I haven't even fully reached my $1500 budget yet for today so that's not the issue.

Anyone ever had this happen? I'm assuming raising a campaign budget by that much raised a flag?

I've heard about this happening a lot but have never experienced it. How old is your account? I'm guessing it has something to do with your account age and it's probably under review. Call them up to see if you can speed up the process.

I am 99% sure that your account is now under a review. They will probably be checking now to make sure that no one got unauthorized access to your account. Within the next couple days, everything should go back to normal. Just next time, gradually increase your budget.

Yeah. Never do that. Raise your budget in 10% increments and wait for that new limit to get hit, then raise it again, and again.

definetly a manual review...your account will now be capped with a max spend

When this happened to me they capped my max spend at $10/day.

I lowered the campaign's budget to $2k, waited 2 hours and it started running again. Looks like problem solved.

Thanks for the feedback.

Yup exactly. They will also review your whole account so be sure not to have any bad things in there.

Just make sure to increase your budget at increments of 25%-50%; you won't run into anymore problems if you do so.

Experience. I've gone through dozens and dozens of accounts, I've experimented with increasing my budget many different ways. Anytime I increase my budget above 50% in a single day, my account became "frozen".

I can see why they would do this with so much fraud on the internet, but not sure why they would want to cap your account if you contact them about it as in the end, they are capping their own revenue potential from advertisers.
