Im gettin into PPC after using FB, and its a bit different but i think i can figure it out..

anyway, i just drove 86 ppl to my site, and only 7 clicked thru!

i'm wondering what kind of numbers i should be aiming for .. i didnt get any converts yet, but i'm just wondering how much work i have ahead of me

thx

depends on your vertical. just try to make it as high as you can and profit.

there is no set number.

What do you mean high? Like make it really long?

I will be split testing tomorrow, i just launched it tonite. I could definately use some help tho on split testing. I'm wondering what changed i could make to split test...

By high he means get as high a CTR as you can.

Normally to split test, make three entirely different LPs. Split test 'a' and 'b'. When you have a few hundred clicks, split test the one of 'a' and 'b' with the highest CTR and 'c'.

Then once you've got the highest CTR of the three, start split testing variations on that one. Different colours, images, etc.

alrite so heres my next question ... for my split testing .. would it be wise to tweak my sales page for B .. or would i be better off maybe running a news offer or something different?

alrite ... whats an opt in exactly?

and do you have any advice for which tend to work well to promote bizops

Opt in is when you collect a users email address to market to them later.

And you're going to have to test to figure out the bizopp stuff. No one is going to tell you that.

aight .. good deal

should i be worried about not having a convert yet? or does that mean nothing as of yet

just fucking shut the fuck up and change some shit on your LP.
why the fuck do people ask these ridiculous questions

I fucking want 100% ctr to offer, there THATS IT.

Fucking do stuff, see if it works. And dont post about how it still fails, try something else.

Use prospers LP rotating script. Check which page has the highest EPC. While one might have a higher CTR another might have a higher conv %. Make one change at a time so you can properly isolate what variable contributed to your success or demise. Everything is relative in terms of what is a good CTR/EPC...test test test..work work work.

I can tell you how to get 100% CTR to the offer: direct link it

Will it convert better than using a LP? I don't know. Split test it!

Hurr durr.

ctr does not matter.

the only thing that matters is the end epc/cpa. rotate lps find the highest epc. fuck ctr

If your ad on facebook is not terribly missleading, then clickthrus I would hope are greator then 10%.

You can write ad copy and landing pages that change that up. In the End, you need to test, test, test, test... Making sure like person above said not to change up more then 1 variable at a time.

You want a balance though, becaue if you get too few of clicks at the higher epc then what good did that do.

I'd rather spend $10,000 to make $4,000 a day then spend $100 to make $300.
