I don't know wtf's going on here... It's funny.

Anyway, my iphone 4s is taking a dump on me, need something new.

Not 100% sold on the Iphone 5.

So going phone shopping tomorrow. Any suggestions?

Windows 8 phones?

Newest Android stuff?

Same old Apple Shit?

I use my phone for calls, texts, emails and some minor web browsing. So I don't really care too much.

Anyone have recommendations? I haven't been in the market for awhile.

After using both android and iOS... stick with iOS. I've had more issues with my Android phone and tablet than any other piece of tech I've ever owned.

Since I'm bitching about how bad Android sucks... WTF is with the 15,000 different flavors? Jellybean, Gingerbread, 7 Grain Wheat, Carrotcake, Licorice?

Apple phones and tablets work the way I expect them to without weird shit like emails accounts that never update, wonky browsers, zero battery life, etc.

Maybe a Windows phone... that I have no experience with. They may kick ass. Would love to test one for a week or so.

Appreciate the perspective. Although I have a Galaxy Tab 2 that I like - I've had positive experiences with Android.

I like Apple products. The phone is just going schizo on me.

I have an upgrade, so anything I get I will get cheap. I'm curious about the Windows 8 phones too. I'm kind of tired of having essentially the same OS since the first Iphone. But I may stick to it.
 
After 3-4 years of using an iPhone I made the switch to Android a few weeks ago with a nexus 4. It was $350 for a 16gb unlocked phone without a contract. The phone is amazing, really sleek and super quick and responsive. The companies don't advertise it at all but this phone is better than the galaxy 3 IMO. As a devout christian I can assure you Jesus would approve.

Android or WP8 ... IOS is dated, restrictive, and boring. And the 4 inch screen is just peasant.
 
Mods please remove the photo of women's bottoms above, it's very offensive. This is meant to be about telephones not DEPRAVITY.
 
Considering you are only using the phone for calls, web browsing, emails, etc.....you should go for the iPhone 5. It's smaller, looks better and it has at least the same performances as the others....and of course, it's well built.

What i don't like on S3....the cheap plastic on the body and the display it's very bad compared to the iPhone (the only positive thing it's the size).

However there's an android phone i like right now, but not sure it's available on sale yet:

That HTC phone is sweet looking, but I am also interested in the Nokia Lumina 920 big time. It's not available here yet though :(
 
I just got the HTC x8 and it's pretty slick. Wasn't sure how I was going to like metro but it's growing on me. My battery also lasts from when I unplug it at about 7am to when I go to bed.

You should check out a Nexus 4 in person. This phone feels as solid and well built as an iPhone. OS aside and function aside, I can tell you that I prefer my Nexus over an iPhone 5.

T-Mobile stores should have these so you can go in and check one out for yourself. So far everyone who's asked to see my phone has been impressed by build quality.
